I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Angel is near death when she lands near Declan's feet. Her memory is gone, so Declan feels compelled to help her. Both Declan and Angel have haunted pasts and the reader cannot help but feel empathy for both of them. It is heartwarming to watch Angel heal physically and emotionally with the help of her therapist, but the world around her is still a mystery to her.

Angel's past makes her a very openly
sexual being, she doesn't feels any taboos regarding sex. Declan is
attracted to Angel but he resists the sexual pull between them at
first because of his protective nature. As the sexual tension between
them grows so does the steamy prose. There are several masturbation
scenes and when Angel and Declan finally do come together (wink,
wink) the words almost burn the page.
Ultimately this book is very sensual
and tells a beautiful story. It is interesting to see the world
through Angel's eyes and Declan is a very strong leading man that
makes your heart melt. This was a very enjoyable book is you are not
turned off by strong sexual scenes.
